SLABFY GRADER

Slabfy Grader privacy policy

Effective September 23, 2026.

Slabfy Grader is the standalone card-grading app operated by Slabfy. This policy covers the Grader app, its review workspace and this page. The Slabfy marketplace has a separate privacy policy.

Photos and scans

Your camera opens only with your permission. A shutter tap saves the original photo privately on your device. Saved full-card photos may be sent for an AI check during capture after you allow photo analysis. Submitting a Quick Scan uploads its saved front and back photos; DeepScan uploads its 18 saved photos. These are stored privately for a Slabfy AI grade estimate.

We process your saved photos, image measurements, findings and results to inspect condition, explain the estimate and show your history. Human review is optional and purchased separately. After payment, silent front/back videos support that review; the AI grading engine uses the photos. Avoid including faces, documents or other personal information in the background.

Photos are tied to your account. Authorized Graders can access evidence assigned to them for review. Business workspace members receive access according to their roles. Reports you explicitly share can disclose selected images, notes and results to their recipients.

Account and purchases

We process your account ID, display name and onboarding preferences to save progress and personalize the app. New accounts use Apple or verified email sign-in, and we process that sign-in identifier. Apple’s Hide My Email relay address is a valid account email. Older guest accounts remain private and can be linked to Apple or email for recovery; new guest signup is not offered. You can change your name in Account.

You can verify a mobile number by one-time text message to claim the free Grader scan allowance. Each phone can claim that allowance once, which helps prevent people from opening extra email accounts for more free scans. Verification can be skipped; paid plans and one-time credits remain available. The full number is used to send the code and is not stored in our database. We store the last four digits with the active account and a keyed, one-way fingerprint of the number for account security and free-offer abuse prevention. Verification texts are transactional only, not marketing consent.

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat and our servers receive account-linked product, transaction, subscription and entitlement information to unlock purchases, restore access and prevent duplicate credits. Slabfy Grader does not receive your full payment-card number. Deleting your Grader account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage it in your Apple Account subscriptions.

Retired voice feature

Voice is disabled in the current release and new voice sessions are not available. The app does not start voice recording or send audio for voice conversations. Expert-review videos are silent.

If you previously used voice, audio was processed for speech recognition and your questions, display name and relevant app context were processed for spoken replies. Raw card photos were not sent to the voice agent. We configured voice-session recording off and did not store conversation recordings or transcripts in Grader history. Former speech providers may retain service data under their applicable terms; disabling voice does not erase those records. Our speech-recognition requests opted out of Deepgram's model-improvement program.

Grader and business features

If you use the review or business workspace, we process annotations, reviewer profile images, review decisions, team memberships, client names and email addresses, and order or invoice notes that you enter. These support assignments, publication and delivery. Published human grades and any comments the reviewer enables for the collector appear in that collector’s report. Internal drafts and disabled comments stay private to the review workspace. Only enter information you are authorized to share. Delivered reviews may remain in another collector's report after the reviewer's account is deleted.

Service providers

The following services help operate Grader. They receive the information needed for their functions under their applicable privacy and service terms:

Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their retention and legal obligations can differ from ours. We do not sell your card photos or use them to train Slabfy models. We do not collect your device address book or advertising identifier, or track you across other companies' apps for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Unsubmitted capture drafts remain privately on the device until you delete them or remove their local app data. Signing out does not transfer a draft to the next account.

Uploaded scan media is queued for deletion after a completed, failed or cancelled scan has been inactive for 30 days. Media for an open Grader review is retained while that review is pending. Cleanup runs in the background; this is not a guarantee of deletion at an exact minute. Account information, results and evidence metadata remain until account deletion, subject to records needed for security, transactions, disputes or legal obligations.

Deleting an account removes its current verified-phone record and last four digits. To prevent repeated claims of the free offer, we retain a keyed, one-way phone fingerprint, the former account identifier and claim time. That anti-abuse record does not contain the raw phone number and is not used to contact you or for marketing.

Choose Account → Delete Account to request removal. Access is locked while private-media cleanup and account deletion run. Owned business records and active public report links, including their rendered share cards, are removed. Copies someone already saved, other collectors' delivered reviews, provider records and backups may have separate retention; deletion cannot recall another recipient's copy. Contact us for help with an access or deletion request.

Your choices

You can turn off camera permission in iPhone Settings. Account → AI privacy lets you withdraw photo processing permission for future requests on that device. This does not recall data already sent, and submitted work may finish.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights. We may need to verify account ownership before responding. You may also contact your local privacy authority.

Security and service information

We use authenticated access, private storage and encrypted network connections. No service can guarantee absolute security. Hosting and service providers process limited technical information such as IP addresses, request times, device/software details, errors and account identifiers for operation, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. We collect account-linked crash, hang, CPU, disk-write and launch diagnostics to diagnose reliability problems. Grader application logs are designed to exclude raw photos, authentication tokens and conversation text.

Children, updates and contact

Slabfy Grader is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

We may update this policy as Grader changes. The effective date above identifies this version; material changes will be communicated as required.
