## Background

The sports card market is a massive industry with over 26 million cards graded in 2025 alone, yet most collectors and dealers still track their portfolios in spreadsheets. Slabfy was built to bring real intelligence to the hobby — the kind previously only available to institutional investors and professional dealers with deep resources.

A "slab" refers to a graded card sealed in a hard plastic case by a third-party grading company (PSA, BGS/Beckett, SGC, CGC). PSA 10 is the highest grade (Gem Mint). Grade significantly affects value — a PSA 9 and PSA 10 of the same card can differ in value by 5x-20x.
